The Cotton House
- Mustique
Hideaway Incomparable
|
Seclusion, luxury and charm define Cotton House, the only resort on
the privately owned island of Mustique and one of the most exclusive retreats
in the Caribbean.
|
|
Charming cottages and houses take their places on the gentle hillside
rising up from L'Asecoy Bay. The sugar mill, remnant of a by gone
era, stands like a sentinel amidst the plantation-style architecture. The
hotel's dining room and lounge are found in an 18th century stone and coral,
plantation-style warehouse known as Cotton House for which the resort is
named.

Each of the luxurious Cotton House cottages, rooms, and suites has
its own distinct personality and views. Many have terraces and private
garden walkways. All are luxuriously appointed with the finest in
comfort and amenities including Egyptian cotton linens and towels, marble
baths, and fully stocked minibar. The original decorative art furnishings
of the Cotton House are the legacy of Oliver Messel, the renowned London
designer who made Mustique his passion. At the Great Room, guests
enjoy relaxed elegance in comfortable open spaces.

Mystique's twelve miles of coastline provide swimming and snorkeling
from many pristine beaches. Take in sailing, scuba and snorkeling, motorboat
excursions, day sails, tennis, or horseback riding. The Cotton House
Verandah is a willing and discreet party to several diversions, among them
reading, conversation, a game of cards, or a midday nap.
