Founded in the 17th century and family-run for generations, The Buccaneer blends Old World charms with warm hospitality, and offers all the amenities expected by today's traveler.  The resort is set on more than 340 lush tropical acres and features three picture-perfect beaches, an 18-hole golf course and pro shop, eight tennis courts (two lit for night play) and pro shop, a health spa and fitness center, watersports center, two swimming pools, and four restaurants. Spacious, elegant accommodations are placed throughout the property with expansive terraces and impressive views. The Great House main building sits atop a hillside overlooking the Caribbean Sea and the Christiansted Harbor.  This resort is constructed around buildings which date to 1653; its
architecture and history reflect the rich heritage of St. Croix.
The historic town of Christiansted is less than a five minute drive and
has sightseeing, duty free shopping, watersports, and dining.
 Twelve different accommodations are available from luxury beachside villas to rooms in the Great House with mountain views. We also have hillside cottages, popular with families. All rooms feature a terrace, patio or balcony, one king or two queen beds, small refrigerator, safe, telephone, hair dryers, air-conditioning and cable television. Most rooms have ceiling fans, irons and ironing boards. Cribs and coffee makers are available by advance request.  We have activities for every type of vacationer - watersports, golfing, tennis, jogging trails, and even a fully equipped fitness center. Families will enjoy our teen and childrens activities which include a basketball court, beach volleyball, beachside ping pong, and a game room. Known as a "playground for kids of all ages", we also have a Kids' Camp from 9:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.  Our picture perfect paradise is also a popular wedding and honeymoon destination.
